The Abacos is one of the best places to go fishing BUT it can also be a great family vacation filled with private beaches, and amazing wildlife.
some things what to do when in the Abacos
★ Travel to Elbow cay
Tahiti beach is a public beach that is ranked at one of the most prettiest beaches in the world.
The rest of Elbow cay is overlooking the beach that makes for a perfect backdrop in photos. The beach also has many sandbars and trees surrounding. on Elbow cay there is a town called hope town. Hope town is home to a small town and a huge stripped light house with lots of history.
★ Visit green turtle club marina
Green turtle is a 35 boat slip marina located on green turtle cay. You can rent golf carts and cruise the whole island. On green turtle cay you can look at wildlife, views of the ocean, and some awesome real estate.
★ Pete's pub
when my family caught the huge fish i mentioned in my last blog, we took it to Pete. Pete owns a pub, a small shed, art gallery, and a couple moorings. He is an sculptor who puts his work in the local gallery. He is a really cool guy who was drinking wine at 9 am, because i guess that's what fisherman do. anyways he was a real entertainment who i bet i had some stories.
The Abacos was a great vacation that i was fortunate to go on, and would do it again just to experience the beauty of its oceans and wildlife.
